Hooker Public Schools
Hooker is looking for a music teacher.  Hooker has had two music teachers.  In the past we have had one vocal and one instrumental and they have both taught elementary.  There are a couple options the administration is looking at depending on applicant qualifications.  The current band director is going to take over the choir classes.  They are looking at either hiring a band director that would also share elementary classes with the current teacher, or hiring a full time elementary teacher.

Hooker is a really nice community with people who go above and beyond to help each other. Hooker has a pretty small school, between 40 and 55 or 60 in our graduating classes, but we have a good core group of music students that typically stay in our band and choir classes most of the way through school.  The administration is also VERY supportive of the music program.

Qualified applicants should contact:

Dan Faulkner
Superintendent of Schools, Hooker Public Schools
PO Box 247
Hooker, Ok 73945
Office: 580-652-2162

Cell: 580-522-1561
